Trust Operations Associate – New Jersey Locations (Hybrid)

The Trust Operations Associate will provide centralized support to Family Office advisors and teams across multiple office locations along with broad operational support for significant business initiatives and projects.  Provide broad operational support for client onboarding, establishing custodial accounts, account administration, security transfers and various other areas that support the operational activities of Family Office Advisor teams.   Complete daily account reconciliation and maintenance including account coding, statement setup, posting cash/asset transfer activity, researching discrepancies between firms account and custody account, coordinating custodial requests.   Support Family Office Advisor teams with centralized financial and performance reporting needs.  Assistance with pulling audit materials and evidence for internal and external auditors.  Monitor and improve internal processes, workflows and procedures to improve efficiency, reduce operational risk and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.  Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.  1-3 years of related experience in operations in a fast-paced, dynamic leading organization.  Trust Accounting experience preferred. Experience in banking or financial services experience, particularly with the High-Net-Worth and Ultra-High-Net-Worth client segments, preferred.

Senior Alternative Investments Distribution Specialist Hybrid Role –  tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT).

As a senior member of the Opportunistic Investing team within the Investment Solutions Group, the individual will work closely with product development, manager selection, and operations to continue the mission in curating a world-class alternative investments platform. The individual will oversee the alternative investments distribution function and manage a small team, where the primary responsibility is to partner alongside Advisors to provide expertise and guidance for the alternative investment offerings available on the platform.

Responsibilities

• Build new, trusted partnerships with Advisors as an Alternative Investment Specialist, providing guidance across hedge funds, private equity, private credit, private real assets, exchange funds and direct investment opportunities available
• Develop expertise on all investment solutions across the Opportunistic Investing platform
• Coordinate Private Advisor coverage and client engagement, hosting monthly workshops, educational seminars, and client meetings
• Lead proactive outreach to new users, ensuring a thorough understanding of the product suite and best practices for implementation
• Assist in answering inbound requests regarding product clarifications, fund updates, performance inquiries, as well as other matters to maximize advisor and client experience
• Coordinate efforts of third-party partners on regional travel for roadshows 

• Create product summaries, talking points and presentation materials 

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree and possibly an MBA, CFA, CAIA or other graduate degree
• At least 7 – 10 years of experience in the Financial Services industry
• At least 5 – 7 years of Alternative Investments experience, preferably within a private wealth management firm
• Strong Knowledge of intermediaries and third-party distribution platforms
• Series 7 and 66 licenses required, 
• Familiarity with Data Analytics, Reporting and Automation Initiatives, ability to make presentations effectively
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Willingness to engage in some travel, Base salary: $165k – $185K
